About Author
I am Anisha Umar,
A resident of Khushab, Pakistan—the city of the legendary Urdu literary figure, Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi.
I started writing before I even started reading. My first story was written right after my fifth-grade exams, lost somewhere within the pages of my diary. Writing isn’t just a hobby for me; it’s a passion, an obsession. Sometimes, I wish I had unlimited time and more than two hands so I could write endlessly. Alright, that might be a bit much—but yes, that’s what passion feels like!
I have written many stories, but they remained confined to my diaries—some completed, some left unfinished. Lahu Se Laal is my first officially published novel, and I am grateful for the immense love and appreciation it has received. This support only fuels my passion further. My readers’ dedication and love are my greatest strength.
This is a journey, and I am a learner. Writing is my passion, not my profession, which means my work may have its imperfections. But I am a learner, and learning is a continuous process. I hope to be encouraged along this journey.
